We were very fortunate this year to be able to go to Miami for Thanksgiving. Roland had the whole week off from school (a much needed break), so we were able to spend a week there. We did lots of fun things. Going to the beach, parks and just hanging out with family are a few of the things we did. Liam was great. I really think he is going to be a social person because he is always in a good mood when there are lots of people around and usually only gets cranky when he just has mom and dad to hang out with. One of the best things about being in Miami was that Grandma Rosie, Sandy and Colby were there also. It was so fun to hang out with them and the rest of Roland's family in Miami. As for Thanksgiving day, it was wonderful. Lots of good food and family. I am so thankful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people in my life. I am grateful for my husband and my son. I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that gives me so much direction in my life. I know what I am supposed to do. On a side note, I am so excited for Christmas. I really love this time of year. Well I think that is it. I really am blessed with a wonderful life. Enjoy the pictures.

My baby is growing up
Liam is 6 months old today! It seems like just yesterday when we took him home from the hospital and now he can do so many things. He can reach for things (mostly my hair), sit up, crawl (scoot really), laugh and smile. He is one of the best smilers I know. I am amazed at how fast the time has gone, and how much he has changed. When he was weeks old I thought he would never sleep through the night and now he is a super sleeper and sleeps through most every night. I just love how happy Liam is most of the time. He really is a great baby. (Not that I have another baby to compare to, but I just think he is wonderful). I really cannot think of my life without our wonderful boy. Happy 6 months Liam! We love you!
Liam - day 1

Liam's first tooth
So last week Liam was really cranky during the day, and I though he might be getting a tooth. I checked his bottom gums ( because as Roland the dentist told me the teeth always come in on the bottom first) and sure enough there was a tooth. He has still been a little cranky, but he is definetly getting better. Yeah Teeth!
It is a little hard to see, here is a picture of his new tooth!
Visit from Uncle Poul
Well I feel like I haven't posted in a while, but that is because I have been a little busy. One thing that made me have a little less time to blog is that Poul came to visit over the weekend. It was so nice to see him, and do fun things with him. It was also really nice to have someone else with me during the day. Roland had a killer anatomy test to study for so it was nice to have some company. Liam really liked playing with him too. So all and all it was wonderful. Poul, I miss you already! Well here are some pictures of Poul and I when he was here.

I'm so glad when Daddy gets home...
Whenever Roland gets home from school Liam gets so excited. Right when he sees Roland, Liam's eyes light up and he smiles. No matter how much homework Roland has he always spends some time playing with Liam and it is so cute. I also get excited when Roland gets home because that means a get a little break. So really it is just great all around when Roland gets home from school.
Playgroup
About once a week our ward has a playgroup. It is really for the moms that have kids that can play together, but I go anyway. It gives me a chance to get out of the house and talk to the other moms in the ward. Last week I got to choose what park to go to. I chose Lakewood park which is close to our apartment and very pretty. It also has little swings, which is basically the only thing that Liam can do at a park. He really like the swings and I have a fun time pushing him. The last few weeks have been beautiful here in Dallas and I am always glad when Liam and I get to spend time outside.

Peaches...not so much
After a week of rice cereal, we decided it was time to try something different. So Liam tried some peaches tonight. He did not like them as much as the rice cereal. We think it is because it is a completly different taste, and very sweet. So we will try again tomorrow, but as for tonight, not so much.
No thanks Mom.

Even though he didn't like the peaches very much he always has a smile!
