Christmas Time is here!

This year we spent Christmas in Dallas. It was the first time that we did not travel to see family and although it was sad not to see everyone it was a joy not to travel. Liam was so excited this year too. He really is starting to understand the whole Santa concept. We started out the festivities with Christmas Eve grinders. It is a tradition with the Schillemat side of the family so we had our own little grinder (sub) dinner. It was nice and simple and yummy.

This is what Liam wanted to leave for Santa. A cookie, some Andes mint chips and a clementine.

Christmas morning was wonderful. The kiddos were up early and opened their stockings. Then we slowly opened presents. The kids were so happy.

One of their favorite presents are more blocks. They played with them for a long time.

And there was a Christmas miracle. Snow! It was amazing and made it a very magical Christmas.
I built a little (tiny) snowman.
 And Liam promptly smashed it.

All and all a wonderful day. I love Christmas and I love my family!
