Happy Birthday Liam

Happy Birthday Liam! I have really been looking forward to this post where I could look back and see how much our little one has changed. He has definitely changed from a year ago. I think back to that time and how scared Roland and I were as parents. Now we still want to be the best parents we can, but it is a lot less scary. Liam is a joy. He has such a sweet and carefree personality and he always can make me laugh. Thinking past on this year it has been the hardest and the best thing I have ever done. I am so glad for my little boy and grateful he is in our lives. To update you on his progress he is 20lbs 13 ounces and 30 inches tall. Quite a difference from 8 lbs 5 ounces and 21.5 inches tall. He is a full blown walker now and loves to sing and dance. What can I say he is the best little boy ever and we love him very much! Liam Day 1

When I was getting ready yesterday...

Liam was having fun exploring the drawer underneath the sink. Notice the tampon. He got two and starting banging them together like drum sticks. Fun times. It kept him pretty entertained so I got to straighten my hair which only happens about once a week if I am lucky. I love having an almost one year old. It is so much fun.

The Ranch/ Bluebonnets

A couple of Saturdays ago Roland had a dental school party at one of his professor's ranch about an hour an half south of Dallas. It was so nice to get out of the city and just relax in the middle of nowhere. The ranch was really pretty with nice wild flowers and some ponds. Taking pictures with bluebonnets are a big deal in Texas, for some reason, I'm not sure why, but I was glad we could get some pictures of Liam with the bluebonnets. He didn't really want to pose, but we got some okay shots.

New Car Seat/ THE BOX

Liam was getting a little big for his infant car seat so we got a new one for him last weekend. He had a lot of fun playing with the box. So did we.

This is the first picture I took when I took the camera out. Liam knows exactly what the camera is for and likes to give us his very cheesy smile!

Not even a year and he is trying to get away.....
