Hey there good looking

About three months after Liam was born, was my sister's wedding. We wanted Liam to look super cute for the wedding  because he was the only baby at the time and who doesn't want a baby to look cute at a wedding? So my sister and I went searching for a baby tuxedo/suit. We were looking in all the shops in Keene, NH, which if you have ever been there, there is not much selection. After looking with no luck at all the normal shops like JCPenny, we popped into Dilly's for Kids and found the most amazing suit that would fit a three month old. It was a little pricey, but we split the cost and Liam did look super cute for the wedding.
The other week while getting the boys ready for church, I was feeling a bit fancy and wanted to see if the whole suit would still fit Landon who was 15 months old at the time. To my surprise it fit and, well he looked so cute! I loved that he still fit into the suit and that we can still get some use out of it.

Lake Exploration

One of my favorite things to do with my kids is take them to a place and just let them explore. The last week Roland was one break we went up to a lake and did just that. We let them get muddy, throw rocks, play in the sand, whatever they wanted to do. Roland is the king of exploration so he showed the kids a lot of cool stuff and explored right along with them. Sometimes I think I get caught up in having my kids do what I want them to do, when I want them to do it, so days like this where they can wander wherever and touch whatever they want are so nice.

Don't worry I am wearing a bathing suit!

Fort Worth Zoo

While Roland had some time off during the summer we all  took a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo. It is one of the top ranked zoos in the country and we could tell. The layout was amazing and we felt like you could see the animals really well. We did have a little car trouble though. When we left the zoo we saw that our car had a flat tire. Sadness. So I went back into the zoo with the kids and Roland got it fixed. So really it was no big deal and it made the trip more interesting. So despite the flat we all loved the zoo and it was worth the trip over to Fort Worth.

Poor flat tire!

Surprise Visit

Although we are far away from family living in Dallas, sometimes we get some surprise visits from family heading across the country. In July we got to see Pablo and Melissa, two of Roland's cousins. We were only  able to spend an afternoon with them before they had to hit the road again, but it was awesome. We love when family comes to visit!

The all Landon post

We love our little Landon. He sure grew up over the summer. He is a certified toddler now. He loves to run and do what his big brother Liam is doing. He just barely learned how to slide down a slide at the playground and it really is the cutest thing ever. He slides down on his belly, feet first. Love it. I do have to watch him closely these days because he is into everything. One of his favorite words to say is "cheese," which is a little sad because he has tummy problems when he has dairy so we don't give him any cheese. That is probably why he knows the word. Landon also makes car noises when he pushes his cars around and he blows on food when he thinks it is hot. He gives big slobbery kisses now, which we love. He also is a pro at high fiving! Landon you are the best!
